How to Handle a Crisis
No matter how many precautions you take, at some point you, your business or a loved one will face a serious emergency. Whether at work, school, shopping, on the freeway or at home, the sheer number and types of emergencies possible in any one of these locations is overwhelming. The truth is no one can know what to do in every situation.

How to Handle a Crisis is for individuals, institutions and businesses that want a simple, quick reference for virtually all threats from tornadoes to terrorism and bomb threats to broken bones. Easy to understand, "Crisis" is the one book you'll want on hand in the event of an emergency.

"concise practical advice".

Greetings and thanks for your interest is our books.
I loved being a small town cop and took full advantage of the training that
was available to me as a chief, and trained in officer survival, terrorism, gang
intervention, hostage negotiations and explosives. (The Pocket Partner is the
result of a desire to codify dozens of emergency books into a single source
for on-scene use). I worked everything including three fatal airplane wrecks,
car accidents, domestics, drugs, homicide and more. I was also a certified
EMT, volunteer firefighter and academy and college instructor. After one
shooting, a couple of near misses and growing ever tired of ignorant
politicians, I felt it was important to be available to raise my seven kids, so I
pulled the pin. One of the most important points I learned from almost a
decade of 24/7 full time law enforcement and five years as a reserve is this,
You can never be over prepared. The same holds true in life. The simple fact
is, there are those that understand modern threats and want to do
everything they can to mitigate them, and there are those that either don't
get it, just don't care or are in complete denial. If you've read thus far, I
suspect you are the former. If you are serious about crisis management and
preparing, please let me know how I can be of service to you.
